Or take a float plane to explore the Misty Fjords. And because this is Alaska, you’re bound to catch a glimpse wildlife on your travels: humpback whales, black bears, bald eagles and more!

Welcome to Knudson Cove Rentals. We are the Etten Family! Rusty was born and raised in Ketchikan and grew up commercial fishing the waters of SE Alaska on his families’ boat ͞The Huntress͟. He bought his first skiff at age 12 and hasn’t missed a season fishing in Ketchikan yet. I first came to Ketchikan in 2001 and instantly fell in love with the beauty and lifestyle SE Alaska has to offer and have made it my home since. We are raising our 3 daughters to love and appreciate beauty of the forest, bounty of the sea. We are so blessed to get to raise our family in Ketchikan and experience the freedom, beauty, and laid back island lifestyle. On a typical day you will find us hitting a local trail, beach combing, out fishing in our boat, or playing in the dirt growing as many veggies as this rain forest will allow. We would be honored to have you as our guest and look forward to helping you make the best of your Alaskan adventure.
